Semnan Mosque

One of the most ancient monuments you can see in
Semnan is the Semnan Mosque. Many believe that the
Semnan Mosque in the first century AH was built on
the ruins of a fire.
Olang Forest

Olang Forest is one of the most beautiful and
haunting forests that few people know about. Located
2 kilometers north of Shahroud, this forest is
located along the Qatar and Cloud forests and is
bounded on the north by Golestan province forests
and on the east, west and south by the catchments of
Shahrood catchment. Some of the plant species
present in the forest include perennial grasses such
as Stipe, Festoka, Bermus and Agropyron along with
Artemisia, Chubak, Mir Hassan and Salvia. Caspian
forests are also seen in the northern part of the
region. Some of the tree species of this forest are
oak, hornbeam, maple, alder, and freewheel. The most
important animal species in the area include
mammals, birds and reptiles, including mammals such
as brown bears, wolves, leopards, wild pigs,
jackals, foxes, rabbits, whole and goats, shukas and
birds such as Quebec, forest pigeons. Named, quail,
forest eagle, vulture, hawk, cuckoo, pheasant.
Urs Shahroud Tourism Garden

The Ors Tourism Garden is a beautiful garden for
leisure and vacations, with amenities such as green
space, amphitheater, fast food, coffee shop, free
smoked tea, grocery store, pavilion, pigeon house,
cycling track, glass lounge and track.
Shahroud Cloud Forest

Shahroud Cloud Forest is one of the oldest and
prettiest Hyrcanian forests, with rare plant and
animal species, located in Shahroud city of Semnan
province. This beautiful forest is part of Iran's
natural heritage and was named on the UNESCO World
Heritage List on July 9th. It is noteworthy that the
cloud forest is the first recorded work of Semnan
province in UNESCO.
The Cloud Forest stands at 4,000 meters high, part
of the 6 million-year-old Natural Museum of Iran,
and its ecosystem dates back to the Jurassic
Geological Age. The forest covers an area of about
3,000 hectares, often hidden in the ocean of clouds.
The forest is 4,000 hectares and because of its
size, it encompasses many species of animal and
plant species, including 6 species of beech, oak,
hornbeam, maple, alder, alder, hare, Hessian, Chubak,
Espresso , Fox, thyme, and clover, along with rare
plant species such as elm, barangay and yew, are
some of these species, but the most famous is the
Ores cloud forest.
Animals such as brown bears, wolves, leopards, wild
pigs, jackals, foxes, rabbits, shoals and snakes,
and quail birds, forest pigeons, quails, eagles,
vultures, hawks, cuckoos and pheasants including
cloud forest animals are.
Peru Protected Area

Parvar Protected Area is one of the protected areas
of Semnan province, Mahdishahr city, located 2
kilometers north of Mahdishahr (Sangsar), which
includes a large part of Aras and Hirkani forests.
The region has a permanent river that originates
from the summit outside the area. Parvar Protected
Area has three climatic zones: forest, mountainous,
semi-desert (Sidawa). The area has villages, a
variety of animal species and monuments.
Garmsar salt tunnel

Garmsar Salt Tunnel is one of the extraordinary salt
mines in Iran where many nature tours are organized
to visit. Garmsar, which is bounded on the north by
Damavand, on the west by Varamin, on the east by
Aradan, and on the south by the Central Desert, is
an interesting diversification of its natural and
tourist attractions.

Reza Abad Desert of
Shahroud

Reza Abad Shahroud Desert, a village of the same
name, is a perfect example of a desert village. The
sand dunes have pushed themselves closer to the
village. On one side of the Reza Abad Desert, there
are tall clay hills, and on the other side there is
a flat plain and sand dunes.
Happy lowland forest of
Shahroud

Shadr plain plain forest is located 2 kilometers
northeast of Shahroud. The diversity of forest
species, nature and beautiful landscape is one of
the characteristics of this area.
Dragon Mountain

Dragon Mountain is one of the fascinating mountains
with strange geological folds that have been created
over many years by geological interactions. The
mountain has red, brown, and white stripes
intertwined to form a special structure. These folds
are created by the combination of sandstone, sand
and welding. The height of this mountain is 1.5
meters.
Bayazid Bastami tomb

Bayazid Bastami tomb is one of the most beautiful
Iranian architectural complex located in the city of
Bastam, 2 km from Shahroud, in a complex consisting
of a mosque, several tombs and buildings. Located in
the center of Bastam, adjacent to the Jameh Mosque
and the Shahrokhie School, it is now considered the
most important historical monument in the city. This
tomb lacks any decoration and an iron roof window.
On the tomb is a marble with words engraved on the
famous prayers of Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS).
Turan Biosphere Reserve (Kharturan)

Turan or Kharturan Protected Area is located at the
eastern end of Semnan province, 250 km southeast of
Shahroud and adjacent to Khorasan province. The area
includes three protected areas that also include a
wildlife refuge in the east and a national park in
the middle. The National Park accounts for 2%, the
Wildlife Refuge 2% and 2% of the total area. Dubbed
"Africa of Persons", the Turan Biosphere Reserve,
with an area of 4.3 hectares, is the largest
biosphere reserve in Iran, the second largest
biosphere reserve after Tanzania in Africa.
Sunflower Plains and
Anemones

Sunflower Plum and Anemone Plums are about 3 miles
northeast of Miami and are covered with anemone
flowers in spring and mid-summer with sunflowers.
What distinguishes this plain from similar specimens
and is a prominent feature is the presence of
waterfalls, springs and species of forest trees in
its vicinity, as well as the beautiful areas of
Qashqatteh, Zu (Nick) and Hossein Abad waterfalls.
Fountain Ali

Ali Springs consists of 4 springs that flow a total
of 5 million cubic meters of water to Damghan plain
annually. The complex has amenities such as a suite
and a cottage for leisure travelers, parking, a
supermarket, an ice cream shop, a traditional
cafeteria, and a thrift shop. This place, also known
as Bolaghi and Thousand Springs, was designated as a
National Tourism Area on June 19th.
Mehdi Shahr cave in Darband

Darband Cave is located on a steep slope in
limestone slope. This cave, about 5 million years
old, is one of the largest calcareous caves in Iran
and reaches about 3 meters in length. The maximum
height of the cave floor is 2 meters. Large columns
of stalagmite and stalagmite and calcareous walls
are attractions of this cave and have a more
attractive appearance with beautiful refinement.
Tourist amenities in this area include accommodation
suites, lodge and resort space on the slopes of
Mount Lehrard.
Tomb of Sheikh Abolhassan
Kharqani

The tomb of Sheikh Abolhassan Kharqani is located in
the village of Qal'nu Kharqan, 2 km north of
Shahroud, in the Bastam section, surrounded by a
beautiful and picturesque garden. Sheikh Abolhassan
Kharqani is one of the mystics of this land who has
played an important role in protecting Iranian
culture. The former building of the tomb of Sheikh
Abolhassan Kharqani was not very privileged and its
construction was of brick and very ordinary.
Fortunately, the Directorate General of Archeology
took diligent action to build the current building
and completed it in six solar years. The altar of
the tomb, one of the most important parts of the
building, belongs to the Ilkhanid period. This work
was registered on April 19, 2006 as one of Iran's
national monuments.
