Nahar Koran Forest Park
 

Nahar Koran Forest Park is an old and relatively famous amusement park in Gorgan, located 2 kilometers south of the city. The park attracts many tourists from all over the country despite being well positioned on steep slopes as well as having good weather every year. Facilities include a restaurant, a guest house, several hotels and leisure villas. Gorgan Museum Palace


The Gorgan Museum Palace was one of five Pahlavi dynasties housed in the Park Shahr (former library). It was built during the first Pahlavi period (Reza Shah). The Gorgan Museum Palace is known as the first museum in the north of the country, the 24th in the country and the fourth in the nation's most specialized archeology museum. Reza Shah ordered the construction of the building along with several other administrative buildings in year 9. Graz Forest Park

Golestan National Park is the oldest recorded national park in Iran and one of the oldest national parks in the world. The birds in this wetland are predominantly migratory and come to the wetland in cold parts of Russia. These birds usually enter Iran from November and remain in the wetland until early April. This annual international wetland hosts more than 5 species of birds such as: flamingo, royal eagle, balaban, swan, heron, perla, sar, fennel, lilies, spotted guilanah, cockerel, aphelik, kutka, kakai, Lak Lak , Salim Golden, Cheesecake, Gray Goose, Swallowfish and more.

Alagol Wetland
Alagol Wetland is the largest lake in Golestan province and a saltwater wetland located in Gonbad Kavous County, Dashi Dulon District, and next to Incheon Dulon City. The wetland is about 2 km from Gonbad Kavus. The three wetlands of Alagol, Almagol and Ajigol as international wetlands have been registered in the Ramsar Convention since 2007 and are protected by the Environmental Protection Agency, with an area of ​​5 hectares.

Alagol Wetland, like Ajigol and Alma Gul Wetlands, is supplied from the Atrak border river and the natural drainage of saline streams called Saman and Shorjeh. Some parts of the wetland are covered with reeds, reeds, and shrubs, and its substrate covers the algae in most places. Every year during the migration season, thousands of birds come to the Alagol Wetlands and other wetlands in the province, and swan, flamingo, duck, swallowtail, chanter, goose, salim, kakae, Balkan, hitchhiking and so on.

Ashorade Island


ٰAshurada Island in the west of Turkmenistan Port is the largest Iranian island in the Mazandaran Sea, located on the peninsula of Miankaleh. Great Wall of Gorgan


The Great Wall of Gorgan or the Great Wall of Alexander or the Red Wall, also referred to in ancient texts as the Red Snake, was built 5 kilometers east-westward along the Caspian Sea in the Gomishan area and up to the Goldidagh Mountains to the north. East of the stigma continues. This wall is known as the "Red Snake", which is used to make the central core and the middle parts of the red brick. Prior to the beginning of scientific research, some attributed the construction of the wall to Alexander the Great and others attributed it to Cyrus the Achaemenian or Parthian period. The wall is also mentioned in some texts as Sankand Dam and Noshirvan Dam. Since the wall began in the south of the village (in present-day Turkmenistan) and north of Gomishan, it also came to be known as Gorgan and the Gorgan River. Mohammed bin Najib Bakran has also written the name of this wall in "The Tomb".

Bagheri Collection of Gorgan


Gagher Bagheri Complex is one of the historic and historic houses in the old texture of Gorgan that is 4 years old and is a valuable example of indigenous residential architecture.

Paul Aghla is a three-year historical monument dating back to the Safavid era. This historic bridge has beautiful brick decorations and is considered as one of the most unique monuments of Iran in Gorgan.

Tomb of Gholami Faraghi


The tomb of the late Ghali Faghavi dates back to the late Qajar-Pahlavi period and is located in the north of Golestan province, in the town of Maravateh, in the old village of Aqtaqeh. This work has been registered as one of the national monuments of Iran on March 1. The tomb contains the tomb of Makhdoom Quli Farghi, a Turkmen national poet and his father, the government of Muhammad Azadi. The tomb was built in the 5th century.

His Holy Mosque and School


The building of the mosque and the Karim School belongs to the Qajar period and was built in the 5th year AH according to a history written on the entrance hall of the school. His mosque and school are listed in the national monuments list. The Holy Mosque was built in the year 6 AH and although not very old, it has the characteristics of older buildings. The brick building of the mosque is built on a rectangular square map and consists of a dormitory with an entrance hallway, which is covered with four domes.
