Nahar Koran Forest Park

Nahar Koran Forest Park
is an old and relatively famous amusement park in
Gorgan, located 2 kilometers south of the city. The
park attracts many tourists from all over the
country despite being well positioned on steep
slopes as well as having good weather every year.
Facilities include a restaurant, a guest house,
several hotels and leisure villas. This 2-hectare
area is more pleasant than Gorgan and has a variety
of vegetation including oak, maple, lily, evergreen,
wild cherry, hornbeam, raspberry bushes,
blackcurrant, azalea, pine, walnut, cedar, magnolia,

Artificial Lake Dome Kavus

the entrance to Gonbad Kavous, now requires drainage

Gorgan Museum Palace

The Gorgan Museum Palace was one of five Pahlavi
dynasties housed in the Park Shahr (former library).
It was built during the first Pahlavi period (Reza
Shah). The Gorgan Museum Palace is known as the
first museum in the north of the country, the 24th
in the country and the fourth in the nation's most
specialized archeology museum. Reza Shah ordered the
construction of the building along with several
other administrative buildings in year 9. The museum
has also been nationally registered, and sculptures
of four prominent figures in Golestan province,
along with artifacts from the Pahlavi era, are on

collection from 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays
(except weekends).
Graz Forest Park

Garg Forest Park is located 2 km east of Gorgan on
the main road of Gorgan-Mashhad and includes a
wildlife park, amenities and playground. Gorgan
Forest Park is one of the important resorts of
Gorgan that is used throughout the year and is one
of the most important ecological areas of animals in
Iran. The Graz Forest Park is known as the red deer
habitat, the red deer is an environmentally
protected species.
Golestan National Park

Golestan National Park is the oldest recorded
national park in Iran and one of the oldest national
parks in the world. With an area of about 2 square
kilometers, the park houses two species of plants
and two species of animals. Some of the animals and
birds that live in Golestan National Park include
leopard, brown bear, wolf, maral, shock, wild sheep,
wild goat, deer, boar, ram, golden eagle, owl, owl,
and red breast. In addition, several rivers, streams
and waterfalls have made this vast and valuable area
an attractive destination for nature lovers.
Khalid Nabi cemetery and
shrine

Khaled Nabi's shrine is located 2 kilometers

Kabudwal Waterfall

Al-Nadra Forest, selected as one of seven exemplary

runs from the south of the park to the north and

four springs that create a unique natural landscape.

House of Amir Latifi

artifact and has been transformed into a museum

Cavus Tower Dome

and beautiful park that attracts the viewer within a
few kilometers. Kavous tower dome is a valuable work
of the fourth century AH and a reminder of the rule
of al-Ziyar in this area of Iran Earth. In the

travelers crossing the land. Kavous Tower is Iran's
tallest brick tower and one of the tallest in the
world. The Dome of the Cavus is listed as a UNESCO

Ramyan Flower Fountain

Gol Ramian Springs is located 2 km south of the city
of Ramian and on the hillside. The Ramyan Flower
Fountain is a calcareous spring that is 2 meters
long and 5 meters wide. The fountain is confined to
arable lands on one side and leads to the forest on
the other three.
This spring is home to many aquatic species. These
include riverine whitefish, blackfish, Abernids,
mollusks and aquatic insects. For this reason, many
people go fishing and fishing in the area.
Loha Falls

Loh Waterfall is located 2 kilometers from Galikesh
and 2 kilometers from the main road Golestan-Mashhad,
next to a village of the same name, in a dense
forest of broad-leaved trees. The Loh Waterfall is
one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Golestan
that attracts many visitors. In total, several small
and large waterfalls, each with a basin below, make
up the complex. The lush and mossy nature of the
surroundings, the warm air and the forest trees such
as maple, hornbeam and alder have given this
waterfall a special identity that has made it a

Waterfall is located near Golestan Park.
Their lost wetland
Gomishan Wetland is located in the northwest part of
Gomishan part of Turkmenistan port city. The
southern side of the wetland is connected to the
Gorganrood River, its northern side to the border
between Iran and Turkmenistan, its western side to
the Caspian Sea and its eastern side to the Gomishan
plain, and about seven kilometers from Turkmenistan.
The northern part of the Gomishan Wetland has been
designated as a protected area due to its favorable
conditions and is listed in the Ramsar Convention on
International Wetlands.

Gomishan Wetland hosts thousands of migratory birds
each year in this international wetland and other
wetlands in Golestan province. The birds in this
wetland are predominantly migratory and come to the
wetland in cold parts of Russia. These birds usually
enter Iran from November and remain in the wetland
until early April. This annual international wetland
hosts more than 5 species of birds such as:
flamingo, royal eagle, balaban, swan, heron, perla,
sar, fennel, lilies, spotted guilanah, cockerel,
aphelik, kutka, kakai, Lak Lak , Salim Golden,
Cheesecake, Gray Goose, Swallowfish and more.
Alagol Wetland
Alagol Wetland is the largest lake in Golestan
province and a saltwater wetland located in Gonbad
Kavous County, Dashi Dulon District, and next to
Incheon Dulon City. The wetland is about 2 km from
Gonbad Kavus. The three wetlands of Alagol, Almagol
and Ajigol as international wetlands have been
registered in the Ramsar Convention since 2007 and
are protected by the Environmental Protection
Agency, with an area of 5 hectares.

Alagol Wetland, like Ajigol and Alma Gul Wetlands,
is supplied from the Atrak border river and the
natural drainage of saline streams called Saman and
Shorjeh. Some parts of the wetland are covered with
reeds, reeds, and shrubs, and its substrate covers
the algae in most places. Every year during the
migration season, thousands of birds come to the
Alagol Wetlands and other wetlands in the province,
and swan, flamingo, duck, swallowtail, chanter,
goose, salim, kakae, Balkan, hitchhiking and so on.
Ashorade Island

ٰAshurada Island in the west of Turkmenistan
Port is the largest Iranian island in the Mazandaran
Sea, located on the peninsula of Miankaleh. In the
past, Ashurada consisted of three almost
interconnected islands, two small islands that had
been submerged for centuries, and now Ashurada has
been abandoned and partially submerged. Passengers,
however, can reach the Turkmenistan port by boat
within ten minutes and enjoy its exemplary beauty
and exemplary tranquility.
Shirabad waterfalls Ramian

Shirabad Waterfall is located 2 kilometers south of
the city of Khan Bebin in the middle of a beautiful
forest. The number of cascades reaches seven. There
are several caves near them.
The cascade is a staircase, consisting of seven
waterfalls, the largest of which is 30 meters high,
with two basins of forty to seventy meters deep at

natural and national monument in the environmental
list.
Great Wall of Gorgan

The Great Wall of Gorgan or the Great Wall of
Alexander or the Red Wall, also referred to in
ancient texts as the Red Snake, was built 5
kilometers east-westward along the Caspian Sea in
the Gomishan area and up to the Goldidagh Mountains
to the north. East of the stigma continues. This
wall is known as the "Red Snake", which is used to
make the central core and the middle parts of the
red brick. Prior to the beginning of scientific
research, some attributed the construction of the
wall to Alexander the Great and others attributed it
to Cyrus the Achaemenian or Parthian period. The
wall is also mentioned in some texts as Sankand Dam
and Noshirvan Dam. Since the wall began in the south
of the village (in present-day Turkmenistan) and
north of Gomishan, it also came to be known as
Gorgan and the Gorgan River. Mohammed bin Najib
Bakran has also written the name of this wall in
"The Tomb".
Bagheri Collection of
Gorgan

Gagher Bagheri Complex is one of the historic and
historic houses in the old texture of Gorgan that is
4 years old and is a valuable example of indigenous
residential architecture.
Drazno village

The beautiful village of Drazno is located 2
kilometers from the city of Kordkoy, in the vicinity
of Baladha village, near the peak of Drazno, about 2

Paul Aqla

Paul Aghla is a three-year historical monument
dating back to the Safavid era. This historic bridge
has beautiful brick decorations and is considered as
one of the most unique monuments of Iran in Gorgan.
Tomb of Gholami Faraghi

The tomb of the late Ghali Faghavi dates back to the
late Qajar-Pahlavi period and is located in the
north of Golestan province, in the town of Maravateh,
in the old village of Aqtaqeh. This work has been
registered as one of the national monuments of Iran
on March 1. The tomb contains the tomb of Makhdoom
Quli Farghi, a Turkmen national poet and his father,
the government of Muhammad Azadi. The tomb was built
in the 5th century.
His Holy Mosque and School

The building of the mosque and the Karim School
belongs to the Qajar period and was built in the 5th
year AH according to a history written on the
entrance hall of the school. His mosque and school
are listed in the national monuments list. The Holy
Mosque was built in the year 6 AH and although not
very old, it has the characteristics of older
buildings. The brick building of the mosque is built
on a rectangular square map and consists of a
dormitory with an entrance hallway, which is covered
with four domes. The Karim School near the mosque on
the southwest side is beautifully constructed with a
square or square plan.
